Hard of hearing? AND… have a tricky phone call you need to make?
Better Hearing recommends that you identify yourself as hard of hearing at the very beginning of the conversation. Then let the person on the other end of the phone know that you are going to ask them a series of questions which only require a Yes or No answer. Proceed to ask your pre-prepared questions. When they’re written down, you won’t forget them!
This will reduce your frustration and hopefully educate someone else about hearing loss!
