Apple AirPods Pro 2 With Hearing Aid Feature Is a Big Step in the Right Direction

WIRED magazine just published an article showing that the laws have changed in the US, and hearing iAd makers no longer need to seek their wares though a distribution system with technicians doing the fitting. Apple have added hearing aid features to their AirPods Pro 2.
How does it work? Well, they have a simple on-screen test using your iPod 2s and your phone. Left ear, then right ear. Immediate results. Seamless support. When you complete the test, you see a personalised profile with easy‑to‑understand results and insights about your hearing. If you have little to no loss, but could still benefit from hearing certain frequencies more clearly, you’ll be able to adjust your Media Assist settings for enhanced audio on media and calls. And if you have perceived mild to moderate hearing loss, you’ll be prompted to set up the Hearing Aid feature.
But will Wired conclude that this is helpful? Read on and see…
